RSI Europe Supplies RISE-1 Systems to Ukrainian UXO Disposal Specialists

RSI Europe, in cooperation with UNDP Ukraine and the Government of the Netherlands, has delivered RISE-1 Remote Initiation Systems to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU).

RSI Europe specialists also conducted hands-on training in Kyiv, enabling Ukrainian deminers to apply the systems safely and flexibly in daily operations. The training covered tactical use, charge selection, and mission planning under operational conditions.

The RISE-1 system allows specialists to initiate explosive devices from distance far exceeding explosion danger radius, increasing operator safety while maintaining mobility in high-risk areas. It is compatible with various types of charges and can operate reliably in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and dust. The system meets both international (IMAS) and national (NMAS) mine action standards.

Vladimir Zdorovets, Chief Specialist of the Department of Pyrotechnic Operations and Unit Readiness at SESU, noted that the system significantly enhances both safety and efficiency for UXO disposal operations.

RSI Europe emphasizes that this delivery supports Ukrainian UXO disposal specialists in safeguarding civilian populations while improving operational readiness and effectiveness in hazardous environments.
